The Blackwood Project is a contemporary self-build home where we worked alongside our clients from the earliest stages of the project, helping shape the interiors long before the house itself was complete.

Being involved from the beginning allowed us to create a home that feels cohesive in every sense. Rather than designing individual rooms, we developed a complete interior concept that flows naturally throughout the property, carefully considering how each space would connect, function and feel.

Our role centred on interior design, space planning and bespoke furniture design, ensuring every architectural decision, material choice and fitted element contributed to one unified vision. From layout planning and material palettes to lighting, cabinetry and custom furniture, every detail was designed to complement the architecture while supporting modern family life.

Throughout the home, a palette of natural materials, warm walnut, soft stone finishes and tactile textures creates an atmosphere that is calm, refined and timeless. Sculptural curved details soften the clean architectural lines, while bespoke joinery integrates seamlessly into each room, providing beautifully functional storage without compromising the overall aesthetic.

The result is a home that feels considered from every angle — where architecture, interiors and bespoke furniture work together as one. By designing each element specifically for the home, we created spaces that are elegant, practical and deeply personal to the family who live there.
