At RK Studio, we handcraft our pieces using high quality materials and with longevity in mind. We want you, and even future generations, to be able to enjoy them for many years to come! Many of our products are made from natural materials such as wood. These items may have inherent variations and unique characteristics, including knots, grain patterns, and colour variations.

Proper care and maintenance are essential to preserve the quality of our natural material products. We recommend:

• Keeping wooden products away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

• Regularly applying appropriate wood care products to maintain finish and prevent drying or cracking.

• Cleaning with a damp cloth and avoiding harsh chemicals.

Our wooden furniture and homeware pieces may contain other materials, like resin, to repair or fill natural cracks. Although resin is water resistant, it will allow penetration if submerged in water for a long period of time. Our above recommendations for cleaning our wooden furniture are also suitable for cleaning any areas of resin.

Occasionally, we may design and make our furniture and homeware pieces from materials like Jesmonite. Unless specified as waterproof on the product listing, we do not recommend using any such product for holding liquids, like a vase or serve ware, as over time the material may allow penetration and cause permanent damage to the product.
