The Blackwood Project is a contemporary self-build home where RK Studio worked alongside the clients from the earliest stages, helping shape the interiors long before the house itself was complete.

Being involved from the beginning allowed us to create a complete interior concept that flows naturally throughout the property. Rather than designing individual rooms in isolation, we considered space planning, materials, lighting, cabinetry and furniture as part of one unified vision.

A palette of natural materials, warm walnut, soft stone finishes and tactile textures brings depth and warmth throughout the home. Sculptural curved details soften the clean architectural lines, while bespoke joinery integrates seamlessly into each space and provides beautifully functional storage.

The result is a home that feels considered from every angle — where architecture, interiors and bespoke furniture work together as one, creating spaces that are elegant, practical and deeply personal to the family who live there.
